Description/Job Summary

Technical Information Services Engineer

Analyze, identify and take actions on opportunities to improve spare parts pricing to capture business potential in local markets. Act as bridge between central and local pricing functions to secure compliance and assure to have a continuous flow of market intelligence to and from the division.



  • Continuously manage and control strategic price differentiation regionally and globally in close cooperation with Pricing Analyst team, Business Development team and Customer Centers.
  • Coordinate and drive improvement activities to assure profitable and competitive pricing in the local market.
  • Central pricing champion who continuously interacts with Customer Centers to improve compliance with expected net price levels in local markets. Effectively handle pricing complaints and relative issues. Advise and implement corrective actions as required to improve competitiveness and consolidated profit.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Centers; train, coach and guide in having the right knowledge, resources and processes in place to manage and develop sustainable local spare parts pricing strategies.
  • Lead regional forums and make efficient use of local resources continuously channel market intelligence to and from the division.
  • Actively monitor and take appropriate and timely actions on price trend and currency effect.
  • Actively conduct ad-hoc price and market analysis upon request and on own initiative.
  • Manage and communicate relevant pricing factors (level factors and rate factors) to all Customer Centers, distributors and indent customers within your regional responsibility.
  • Manage company internal pricing and, if applicable, special pricing agreements within your regional responsibility.
  • Cooperate with and openly share information within team. Continuously work towards having a positive customer oriented attitude.

Required Skills

  • The position requires knowledge of Engineering BOM structures.
  • The position requires good computer skills, and knowledge of MS OFFICE.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, BPCS, MOVEX, SAP, MFG PRO is preferred.

Required Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience in within the industry
  • A blend of business, marketing, communication, and project skills

Preferred Experience

0 to 3 years

Required Education

  • University degree is preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.


The physical requirements of the job include sitting, walking, standing, keyboard and phone activities. Extended periods may be spent at a desk using office equipment. At times may require hands on work occasionally and lift materials weighing up to 10 pounds.

This position requires domestic and international travelling, approx. 50 days of business travel per year.
