Description/Job Summary

Epiroc Drilling Solutions is looking for a Warehouse Lead to aide warehouse personnel in completing assignments designated by the department Supervisor. The incumbent’s role is that of a skilled and knowledgeable person which can supplement the leaders directions by providing detailed direction to other hourly warehouse personnel.  Perform functions within Company safety guidelines.


  • Carry out daily warehouse workload
  • Check availability of parts, components, and materials (i.e. use MFGpro to confirm allocations, locations, and part disposition)
  • Follow-up on receiving / stocking discrepancies
  • Make all required corrections/modifications according to work order/customer request
  • Assist in assigning duties
  • Communicate properly with outside transportation companies
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines
  • Maintain work related records and reports (i.e. quality defects, unplanned material requisition)
  • Ensure availability of all stored supplies
  • Perform other duties as required or directed
  • Ensure all warehouse functions follow written procedures
Occasional, Infrequent
  • Train new hires
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts
  • Return leftover parts back to Warehouse

Required Skills

Prior Positions/Training:
One year minimum in current skill set with some leadership and training skills

Required Education

HS Diploma or GED required
The training period for this position:
 6 months to a year

Required Qualifications

  • Required to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to follow through on work orders using fundamental knowledge of assembly techniques and applications
  • Overall knowledge of product line
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
  • Knowledge of MFG Pro transactions that directly affect their work area


Working Conditions:
Some exposure to dirt, oil, and other warehouse elements
Responsibility for Equipment / Process / Material / Product:
Handles equipment such as overhead cranes, pallet jacks, floor jacks, and fork lifts. Large damage amounts if equipment is improperly handled.
