We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist that will provide leadership, guidance and project support to the MRS division, including the Garland Service HUB and the Allen DC, with all things Human Resources related, including but not limited to employee relations, communication, organizational development, staffing and compensation.

Responsibilities/Duties


Primary Responsibilities will include:
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, etc.
  • Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings.
  • Maintains company organization charts.
  • Drive initiatives to help foster a positive company culture, focusing on diversity and inclusion
  • Develop strategies to increase workforce readiness, retention, and engagement
  • Partners with HUB and DC Management and HR Manager to determine hiring needs, develop staffing plan, develop strategy, recommend methods to meet staffing objectives, and maintains staffing reports
  • Project Implementation centered on Communications, Organizational Capability, Strategic Management
  • Organizational Development support through assisting with identification and execution of training plans as needed for the supported locations through on the job training, and/or Epiroc training programs and/or external training offering, etc.
  • Assignments include tactical and strategic work pertaining to: Quality, Compensation, Communications, Benefits,  Employee Relations, Training, and Safety
  • Assignments usually involve both project work and daily human resource administration. 
  • Manage Employee Programs including an employee rewards and recognition program
  • Develop and/or assistance with Social programs including luncheons, annual events, etc.
  • Administers compensation programs for salaried exempt and salaried non-exempt employees including survey participation and analysis
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various HR policies
  • Create and maintain departmental metrics

Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
High energy and high sense of urgency required in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision. Maturity and reliability. 
Strong interpersonal skills; verbal, written, facilitation, and teaming. 
Ability to travel between locations – Allen DC and Graland Service HUB weekly.

Required Experience

A degree in Human Resources or Labor Relations is typically required for people joining the Human Resources discipline with a minimum of 7 years’ experience, along with experience.  Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge:  
Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws governing employee relations and compensation practices required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, HRIS, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

  • Exposure to Distribution Center conditions, which may include loud noises, variable temperatures, dusty environment
  • Ability to drive.
  • Ability to walk long distances between buildings and within the Distribution Center.
